Service Line Pipe Replacement

LCA sends a notice to customers when a service line replacement project is taking place in their neighborhood. We encourage customers to read the details and respond when needed. If your property is eligible for free service line replacement, a Right of Entry authorization is required. A copy of the Right of Entry authorization is available in Spanish below.

Right of Refusal: Customers have the right to refuse service line pipe replacement for any reason; however, they may not be eligible for replacement once a project closes.

After Service Line Replacement

Customers should take steps to reduce the risk of exposure because the potential for lead in drinking water increases after construction and disturbance of the service line. Follow the instructions in the fact sheets linked below:
